TIG Welding
Gas Tungsten Arc Welding · GTAW
An intensely fine, delicate process — a tungsten arc with hand-fed filler, or none at all, for clean, precise, low-distortion welds.
We run a wide range of welding equipment from reputed brands like Sparc Technologies and Panasonic, and our highly skilled team can translate your design into a precision-finished item. MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel lets us offer competitive prices and fast turnaround for both custom items and series production.
TIG welding is an intensely fine and delicate technique: you hold the torch in one hand and a filler rod in the other, slowly feeding the rod into the weld as you go. It gives close control over the heat and the bead, which is why it's the process of choice where the joint has to look as good as it holds.
With TIG — or GTAW, Gas Tungsten Arc Welding — you can also weld without a filler rod and simply melt the two pieces of metal together. This is known as 'fusing': the heat from the arc melts and merges the metal.
- Superior quality welds
- Welds with or without filler metal
- Precise control of heat and variables
- Free of spatter
- Low distortion
